Refund Policy
Foothills Paddling Club’s policy governing refunds for FPC Events and Educational Clinics
Foothills Paddling Club is non-profit organization, fully staffed by volunteers. This means that organizing events and clinics involves countless hours of preparation from unpaid Officers, Committee, Instructors, and other volunteers. In order to honor the time that our volunteers so graciously invest, the FPC Officers and Board have decided to enact the following policy around the refunds for FPC Clinics and Events:
Participant is no longer able to attend
If the participant is no longer able to attend the event or clinic, a full refund minus a processing fee will be issued if the participant notifies the FPC at least 5 days prior to the date of the event.
Refund Proration
If notice is received less than 5 days prior to the date of the event, a prorated refund will be issued using the following schedule:
4 days prior: 80% minus processing fee
3 days prior: 60% minus processing fee
<48 hours prior: No Refund
Cancelations
If a paid event or clinic is cancelled altogether, the FPC will issue a full refund within 5 days after the date the event or clinic was scheduled to occur.
Postponements
If a paid event or clinic must be postponed, it will be rescheduled for a date at least 5 days after the date the event or clinic was scheduled to occur, and the participant’s registration will automatically transfer to the new date. The registered participant will have the option to cancel their attendance and receive a full refund. To receive this refund, the participant must send notification at least 5 days prior to the new date.
Refund Proration
