This clinic is taught on the Tuckasegee River in Dillsboro, NC. In this clinic, you will take turns with your classmates leading for small stretches of the trip. You will put into action your water reading and hazard/feature identifying skills. You will use all of the boat control and paddle stroke skills you have developed. There are many places on the river to practice your roll in and out of current (if desired). There are many places on the river to practice skills like eddies, ferries, and surfing.

In order to participate in this course, you need to have participated in FK105 or be recommended by an FPC instructor who can verify your gear and readiness for reading and leading on class 2 whitewater. Please contact us if you have questions or want to learn more.
