Do you have a set of hand paddles in your stern for an emergency but never take them out to use them on your paddling trips? Or maybe you just think hand-paddles are super cool and you've been dying to give them a try. Come spend a day on the river learning how to navigate class 2 whitewater effectively with hand-paddles.

This course is designed for participants who possess class II river kayaking skills and want to learn how to use hand-paddles in those conditions. Students will participate in a full day course (6+/- hours) on a class II venue river. They will learn information, skills, and maneuvers as they relate to the use of hand-paddles in class II whitewater conditions.
