Foothills Paddling Club and Save Our Saluda are teaming up to host a river cleanup on the North Saluda River in northern Greenville County in South Carolina.

We will need canoes and volunteers that are willing to get in the river.

For reference, here are some images from a recent scouting mission on the North Saluda:

“I did a river scout yesterday on the North Saluda through Beechwood and the Naturaland Trust property near Marietta and there is plenty to pull out of these sections. Attached are some pics. Much is large agricultural trash that is still there from the 2020 flood. ”
