Have you feeling confident with your class II whitewater kayaking progress and feel ready to step up your game and test your skills on class III? This clinic will be held on the Upper Green and is designed to help you learn how to work a river to confidently progress into class III venues. You will work on scouting rapids, reading and understanding hydraulics, navigating the river by utilizing various paddle strokes and maneuvers such as surfing and boofing. This is great clinic to take in order to get ready for Chattooga Fest!
Confidence in paddling class II whitewater. A reliable roll is a preferred skill. Comfort with swimming in current and self-rescue is required.
