This clinic is designed to help those who have a reliable roll in a pool but struggle when comes to using that roll when they need it the most, in whitewater and current.
This class will be held on the Tuckasegee River and will cover rolling in whitewater current, strategic methods on rolling in rapids, reading water, and setting up. The clinic will also include a rescue demonstration. There will be ample safety present, so you can focus on your roll, not what will happen to you and your gear, if you swim.
Prerequisites: Completion of Foundations Core or comfortable on class 2/3 whitewater and have a good pool roll or flatwater roll.
