Our annual Summer Social is back and it will be fun for the whole family! This year it will be held the Twin Lake land trust in Saluda, North Carolina. Come enjoy a day paddling a the Green River and follow it up with good food and great people at the cook out. Please feel free to bring the entire family to this event. We have the Twin Lakes facility reserved for the entire day so even if paddling is not your thing, you are welcome to spend the day at this beautiful location. There is plenty to do there from hiking to swimming and even fishing.

Schedule

9:00 - 10:00 am: Meet up at Twin Lakes for coffee and donuts.

10:00 - 10:15 am: Quick meeting with trip leaders to coordinate the trips for the day.

11:00 am - 4:00 pm: Green River Day!

Paddling Trips:

• Lower Green River - Class II

• Upper Green River - Class III

• There will be no official club trips on the Green River Narrows (Class V), however you are welcome to join us at the social after your own private trip.

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Summer Social. Return to Twin Lakes to enjoy Hamburger and Hotdogs and make some new memories with your fellow paddlers.
